Every girl is fond of nail paints or loves to try various nail art designs. You might be thinking about what is bad in it? 

So here comes the main problem that is removing nail polish day after day frequently. That is tough to get off your nail paint because this can also break our nails. If you think I am saying right then continue reading further to get some tips.

Using nail polish remover frequently can be harmful to your nails. As commercial remover contain a harmful chemical known as acetone. This can be risky for nails!  

You will learn many risk-free alternative methods of nail polish remover. Implementing this way can take much less effort and also not damage nails. 

Check out these easy peasy methods of nail polish remover. 

1. Hand Sanitizer

This has many roles in our daily life. Hand sanitizer is made of ethyl alcohol which can kill 99.9% of germs in 15 seconds. 

The Material You Will Need

  • Sanitizer
  • Cotton Ball

Add a few drops of sanitizer on the cotton bowl, now gently start rubbing it on your nails. You will see your nails are getting clean. After removing wash your nails and then apply moisturizer on it. 

2. Hairspray

As we all know hairspray help us in boosting hair volume. This also contains many good solvent and ingredients such as propylene glycol and hydrocarbons. 

The Material You Will Need

  • Hairspray
  • Cotton ball

Take a clean cotton ball and spray over cotton until it gets wet properly. Now gently rub your nails one by one. You may use a new cotton ball with spray if previous stop removing. 

3. Deodorant

As we all know acetone is the main ingredient to remove nail polish. But sometimes it can be harmful any way deodorants also contain some good solvents that act as excellent nail polish remover. 

The Material You Will Need

  • Deodorant 
  • Cotton ball

Slowly bring the nozzle of deodorant near your nails and spray over it. Now keep the cotton ball above the nails, again spray the deodorant on the cotton ball. Keep it for a second then remove it softly. 

4. Vinegar

Vinegar is the best source of good ingredients like orange peel or fruit juice. 

The Material You Will Need

  • Vinegar 
  • lemon juice 
  • Cotton ball

For speeding up removing process, dip your nails into warm lemon juice water for 5- 10 minutes. Now dip the cotton into vinegar and slowly start wiping your nail polish. After removing apply moisturizer!

5. Top Coat nail Polish

All good nail paints contain ingredients like nitrocellulose which is dissolved in butyl acetate or ethyl acetate. Nitrocellulose makes a film so that the solvent does not get evaporates. 

The Material You Will Need

  • Old nail polish 
  • Paper towel 

Before applying nail polish keep your cotton or paper towel ready. Apply a thick coat of topcoat on your old polish, make sure to completely cover it. Now quickly wipe off the applied nail polish, to remove the old polish. 

Tips

  • Pure acetone can be used to remove nail paint when nail remover not available at home.  
  • Too much using of nail remover can damage your nails. You can use a base coat so that nails get protected. 
  • Darker and glitter nail polish are difficult to remove. For them, we can use a solution of warm water, alcohol and toothpaste. 
  • Make a mixture of baking soda and warm water then soak your nails in it. You will see nail polish will get remove from tips and corners of cuticles.
